Hello there!
It's been awhile since I have posted on my blog and I know I haven't been consistent with my Monday-Thursday posts. I am hoping to turn that around in May since I don't have a concert to go to every week. Really! I don't have anything in May unless some people pop up at the market. I have also been very busy with my collages. I know, I go from one extreme to the other: Hanging out with musicians all day to gluing things together all day. Such is life.
Anyway, on April 18, 2017 I saw The Dixie Chicks for the 2nd time at Budweiser Gardens. They put on a hell of a show and it was probably one of the top two shows I have seen this year. (I am partial to Dean Brody and High Valley but I'll talk about them another day.) The Chicks' opening act was a married couple from Nashville, Zack Smith and Caitlin Doyle-- also known as Smooth Hound Smith, They reminded me a lot of bands like Sugarland and Little Big Town. I really enjoyed them and it turns out they are really nice people!
