After the Show: Old Dominion, Kira Isabella & Chris Buck

Last year, I saw Old Dominion at Rock the Park in London, ON-- but not really. The accessible platform was way at the back of the park. They looked so small, I didn't even know how many people were in the band.

This was my "best" picture of them out of a total of three.

To top it off, the platform was held together with caution tape and zip ties.

So when I heard Old Dominion was coming back, I was on it because this time they were going to be at Centennial Hall, which is much more accessible. I was worried at first because they said this show was standing room only. Being somebody that can't stand, this is not a good concert option, I knew they had a balcony but I'd never been up there. It turns out there's a reason why: "The elevator doesn't go up there," they told me. There is so much I could say about that but I won't. I thought for sure I would be trampled at this show, but as it turned out there was a mezzanine/ramp platform that I got to sit at and it was like being in the front row without the fear of being punched in the face. So all was well. Even better, Old Dominion and their supporting acts, Kira Isabella came to the market earlier in the day for free! Here are my favourite pictures from April 20, 2017 (in the order they were taken)! Photos that include me are courtesy of BX93.

The only way for people to get a photo with Old Dominion was as a group. It was very rush-rush.

Kira Isabella and Chris Buck sang their new song, "That's How You Know".

I'd say these pictures turned out way better than at Rock the Park! I hope Old Dominion comes back soon!
