On June 22, 2017, Gord Bamford performed at The Covent Garden Market! He played his new song, "Livin' on Summertime" as well as "Breakfast Beer". He also spoke about The Gord Bamford Foundation which has raised $30000 for the hospitals in London alone and nearly $3 million for hospitals across Canada!
I first met Gord in Owen Sound in 2009. Then Gord came to Mount Forest on March 23, 2010, which also happened to be my friend, Amanda Canning's 18th birthday. Prior to the show, I emailed Gord's team and requested that Gord sing happy birthday and it worked out! In 2011, I saw him again at Cowboys in London and at The JUNO Awards in Toronto. After that I saw him in Lucknow in 2014 and last year at The CCMAs but I didn't get to talk to him on those days. I always wanted to get Amanda's photo signed for her and after seven years, I finally did it! Good things come to those who wait. Here are my new photos of Gord. He was pretty sure he'd be back to London in the winter, so it sounds like maybe I won't have to wait another seven years for a new autograph!
