George Canyon came to the market on May 24, 2018! I first started to go see George in 2009 at Music in the Fields, but I didn't get to meet him until 2012 at The Holstein Rodeo which isn't running any more. He seems to remember me though, and even said hello to me on the Green Carpet at The CCMAs in 2016. When he came to the market, someone gave him flowers to take home, which he was unable to do. He came up to me, and was like, "Hey Annette..." and gave me the flowers! I had never been given flowers before so I will always remember that. I didn't get a chance to ask if I could interview him, but I gave him my card. I told him I took some pictures and he got really excited and asked if he could follow me on Instagram and I said yeah! He got his phone out and found me right away! It was a really fun day!
