After the Show: The East Pointers and Lindsay Lou
This was technically my second last show of the year unless something comes up at the market. So, I hope you enjoy these pictures but I don't think they do the show justice in regards to the impact it had on me. Last year, I was fortunate enough to interview Tim Chaisson and we talked about how The East Pointers spread happiness. This show was proof of that. You could see the joy on their faces and you could feel it. They are truly happy to be making music. The other thing that stayed with me was that Tim remembered that interview. He said I had asked some of the best questions he had ever received. This meant so much to me because I had almost given up on interviews and it showed me that I had done something right. So I have a few people in mind that I am going to reach out to for next year. Fingers crossed that they will reply.
Here's what I have planned for the blog in the next few weeks: I will continue posting Overheard Things on Saturdays but I may take a break on Mondays and Thursdays as Christmas gets closer.
On November 30, I am going to see Johnny Reid, so there will be photos following that show.
After Johnny Reid, I will post The Top Ten Blogs of 2019 since Johnny is the final show of the year and he could still make it into The Top Ten! (Heck, this post could make it into The Top Ten! Please share!) This year I am posting a video instead of a written blog. It's more fun, but it's also more work, so I don't have an exact date for that yet, especially if the list changes.
Then I will be taking a break until January (unless I post comics).
On January 2, the blog turns three! I have an awesome video for that which I am almost finished, but again, I have to wait for Johnny Reid so he can be included! I was unable to make a full video for when the blog reached 500 000 views but there are some shout-outs in this video. I am now closer to 600 000 views so I will try to make a video for that.
I do have one very special interview that has already been completed for next year. You will have to wait for that. In the meantime, here are 24 photos of Lindsay Lou and The East Pointers!
